Carl Hilzinger-Thum, founded in 1902 and headquartered in Tuttlingen, Germany, announces that Europolish S.r.l., based in Sabbio Chiese, Italy, is joining the HILZINGER Group. The transaction is effective as of September 16, 2026.

This brings together the expertise of two long-established European companies in surface finishing technology. While the HILZINGER Group has been developing tools for surface finishing for more than 120 years, Europolish manufactures liquid and solid polishing compounds as well as lapping and honing pastes.

Both companies supply customers in the automotive, metalworking, medical technology, and watch and jewellery industries. Their respective product portfolios and expertise also complement each other perfectly across the field of surface finishing.

Giuseppe Vigevani will remain a partner within the group and will continue to lead Europolish as Managing Director, contributing his extensive experience and expertise.
