In October 2020 Bob Pinchot joined our group of companies as partner and president of hilzinger-america. We will expand our existing trading branch in the USA into a production site for polishing tools. Initially on an initial area of 20.000 sqf we will install our proven Germany technology to better serve the American market with our high quality and reliable tools.

This investment in the most difficult economic times is a clear commitment to the American market.  We are confident that good times will come again after the Corona crisis and are pleased about the successful start of the project.

Agritech, Tanzania

Agritech planted the first 200 hectares of Sisal and maize on the Kibaranga Estate on the old farm. Our public private partnership with the municipality of Muheza was able to harvest the first maize in May 2020. In Korogwe we finally got the long awaited power connection in April and in June the machine hall was inaugurated. On our decorticators we produced the first ton of sisal fibre of the fine East African quality, UG grade. The leaves come from local small growers, for whom we contribute to a better standard of living with fair prices and immediately paid wages.

Completion of new factory buildings in Bulgarien

In autumn 2019 a further 3,500m² of production area was completed at hilzinger-polirni-technologii in Bulgaria.  

This enables us to expand further, especially on the Eastern European and Turkish market.
